Tonight as I rock my crying baby with 101 temperature and 4 band aids on his thighs, I am feeling especially blessed and grateful. It seems like lately I have come across a few different blogs or stories of people losing their child, whether it was complications during pregnancy, premature birth, or an illness developed after birth. I sit in tears as I read these stories of women I don't even know, and my heart breaks for them. The love a mother has for her child is indescribable, priceless, and overwhelming. I can't even begin to imagine the heartache and emptiness a mother must feel after such a loss. My heart goes out to anyone that has to experience that hurt.

Tonight, I am grateful for my sweet boy.

I'm grateful that I can be here to comfort him when he is in pain.

I'm grateful I wake up to him crying during the night, even though it is not always fun.

I'm grateful for his smiles and giggles that light up my day.

I'm grateful for all the hard, overwhelming days, because I know what a blessing he is.

Tonight, I will squeeze a little tighter,

rock a little longer,

kiss a little softer,

and love even harder...

Jones turned 5 months on Sept. 26th, and I can't believe he is already that old! I have been having so much fun with him lately. He just thinks every second is play time.. At 5 months Jones is:

loving play time in his exosaucer

loves to sit in his bumbo and watch mommy get ready

rolls over

almost sitting up

just starting to eat vegetables and LOVES them!

a busy body

deciding he doesn't want to nurse anymore (every feeding is a fight! ah!)

laughs and smiles at everything

sleeps 10-11 hours a night

takes 2-3 1 hour (or longer) naps during the day

thinks Cash is the funniest thing ever...

Have I said I love being a mom? :)

My parents are on a world trip to 14 countries for the next to months with their friends the Porter's. They started an amazing company called e3 Imagine and I can't wait to see the pictures they come back with! I am so jealous of the life changing experiences they are having, but even though I am a mom now, I still miss my mom! It's only been a week and we all miss them so much! I can't wait to get you guys back! Love you!!

Time Flies...

Okay, okay, I know it is pretty pathetic that the last time i posted was about 8 months ago. I guess it's about time to update now that our lives are COMPLETELY different than the last time I updated. My 2nd grade teacher used to always say "How time flies when you're havin fun and workin hard". Boy is that a true statement! We are now living in Glendale while Jake goes to Midwestern for medical school, and I am pretty much a single mom. I never get to see him hardly because he is just constantly studying. It's hard at times, but I am so proud of him and how well he is doing!

Well, obviously I have had my baby, and he's not a tiny baby anymore! Jones turned 4 months last week and it makes me so sad that he's getting so big so fast! We started feeding him rice cereal last week, and as I looked at the baby bowls, spoons, bibs, and food on the counter, I couldn't help but want to freeze time so he stops growing up so fast! Jones is such a good, laid back baby- we are pretty spoiled. At his 4 month appointment, he weighed 14 lbs 8 oz (40%) and is 26 in. tall (75%). He is such a happy boy, and I feel so blessed to be his mom. I always knew that I would love being a mom, and was so excited for that day, but you can't comprehend the joy it brings and the amount of love you have for your child until it happens to you. It can't be put into words, but all I know is that nothing makes me happier. Yes, there are times I want to scream, and it's not always easy, but the moment he looks up at me with that huge smile and perfect dimples, all those feelings of being overwhelmed disappear. I LOVE being a mom. Here are some pictures to update, and I'll try update more than every 8 months! :)

Coming to a close...

As 2010 came to a close, I couldn't help but not only look back at the year we had, but look forward and anticipate all that 2011 will bring. It seems like the older I get, every year goes by faster and faster, and I can only imagine how it will fly by when we have our kids to add to it. A few highlights from 2010 that come to mind are:

I was finally able to quit my horrible job at American Laser Centers and move on to a dermatologist's office in Chandler. I have been LOVING it, and feel extremely lucky.
Being a cabin mom at girls camp we definitely a new and challenging experience, but I loved every second. It taught me a lot about myself.
We were able to go on some very fun family vacations over the summer
Finding out we were pregnant in August!!
Finding out we are having a sweet baby boy!
Pushing through Jake's last semester of ASU, and him finally graduating! I couldn't be more proud of him. He is the the most dedicated, hardworking man I have met, and I couldn't feel luckier to be his wife.
Spending time with family over the holidays- especially having Ty and Lex around for a short time!

We went out to this light carnival out in Glendale with my family and there was a band playing, and cute Mema and Bapa jump out on to the dance floor and bust moves no one knew they were capable of! haha I have the cutest grandparents ever!

2010 was a good, accomplished year, but I can't wait to see what 2011 will bring us. With our little man coming in April, I have A LOT to look forward too and I already know it is going to be one of the best ones yet. I can't wait for this life-changing year!!

20 weeks

Here is the latest 20 week picture. I have been so bad about taking pictures, these are the only two I have so far. I know I'm probably going to regret that... Anyway, I'm finally feeling good! The last two or three weeks have been heaven, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will continue. I'm popping out at an incredible rate, and I'm starting to think I'm going to be in big trouble if I'm only half way and I'm having a hard time reaching my feet or standing up! As far as cravings, I just want pop everyday and it's so bad! And no friends, I don't get hives when I drink pop anymore! haha weird... welp.. I'm obviously not a detailed writer, so this is what you get for now! :)

It's a BOY!!

I'm sure most have you have already heard by now, but we are SO excited to add another little man to the family! We announced it at Thanksgiving along with Ty and Lex, and Alyssa and Stu. We each had a pink balloon in one hand and a blue one in the other and let go of whichever balloon we weren't having. We were all left standing with a blue balloon.. so fun! We are just a boy family, and I can't wait to meet our little man in April! I have already bought a few outfits that I can't stop staring at... :)

I thought I should give my latest pregnancy update since everyone says I never update my blog! I am about 15 weeks along now, and I think I am FINALLY starting to feel a little better. My appetite is definitely back and I can actually eat meals and enjoy them! I felt the baby move on Saturday for the first time and it was the coolest feeling! At first I didn't know if it was just a twitch in my stomach, or it was really the baby. So fun! Jake was actually able to feel it too if he pushed on my stomach hard enough.

Here is a list of things that I crave pretty much every day...

Subway turkey sandwich with every veggie on it.. MMMMMM

My mouth waters just looking at them!

And for some reason chocolate milk. I have never been a huge sit down with a glass of milk kind of person, but that's all I want every night!

We are looking forward to finding out what we will be having in hopefully about 3 weeks. I know we have been saying we really want a girl, but it's natural to lean toward one or the other right? When it really comes down to it, we are going to be ecstatic with either one. Will I be devastated if we find out we're having a boy? Of course not!! How could I? That's all I've ever been surrounded by my whole life! It's all I know! We will have what we are meant to have, and I just couldn't be more excited to become a mother. My belly has definitely made it's debut, so I'll post a picture really soon I promise! :)

Most of you 5 readers probably already know by now... but...

WE'RE HAVING A BABY!! :)

We couldn't be more excited! I am 10 weeks along, and due around April 27th. I go in for our first ultra sound this Thursday so we'll be able to really pin point the date then. I feel so blessed to be able to carry this sweet spirit, and in several months be a mother. I thank Heavenly Father everyday for this opportunity, and for trusting me to take on this amazing responsibility. Not only are we excited for ourselves, but my sweet sister-in-law Alexa is due 2 weeks before me. How fun! I'll keep everyone updated on my progress, and thanks for the support!

We Can Do It, He Can Help!

We can do it, He can help was our theme for girl's camp this year. I had the opportunity to go as a cabin mom this year with 8 first years. Let me tell you.. going as a young woman and a leader are COMPLETELY different experiences. I never realized how much my leaders have to prepare and how exhausting it is to be a leader! haha I never thought that I would be one to come home from camp and need a few days to re-coop. That's only the old ladies! And yes... everyone thought I was a young woman. I needed to carry around a sign to let everyone know they don't have to tell me where to go. Even though we had a couple difficult girls, I learned so much about myself and loving others. This theme was just the push I needed. I am so greatful for the ward and stake that I live in. I had a hard time leaving good ole ValVista ward, since I grew up there, but 61st ward has grown to be my home. The programs that the stake put on were so incredible. On the spiritual night, they did a program about how we can do it through trials, but He can help. I had a little down syndrome girl sitting next to me, laying her head on my shoulder through the whole program, and I couldn't help but cry thinking Wow, this is a true daughter of God right here with me. I'm so glad I was able to go and strengthen my testimony at camp!!

We kept finding random socks around our addie and nobody would claim them so they had a smelling contest... haha sick I know!

Ok friends.. I am wanting to get new bedding, but don't know what to do with my old bedding. This picture isn't the best, but it's taken back when we first got married. It's still super new and in perfect condition, it's just way too heavy and we never use it, so it plops on our floor and it's driving me nuts! Does anyone know of a place that buys bedding or somewhere I can sell it? Help me out!

Viva Las Vegas!

Hey not too bad! My last post was only a month ago this time instead of 3!! :) This past weekend we were able to head up to Las Vegas with my whole family to relax. Vegas is the mid-point between here and Provo, so Ty and Lex were able to meet us there. We shared a room with them and it was a blast! It was so much fun to see them and spend time with them. We're sad you guys are a state away!! We stayed at the JW Marriot Resort and it was gorgeous! I didn't get too many pictures of the grounds but it was 56 acres! We really liked that it was away from the strip, so it didn't actually feel like we were in Vegas until we went down to the strip one night, of course to go to the mile long mall! haha The boys were about to cry if we stopped at one more store. Basically we did a whole lot of nothing, and we couldn't have been happier! Laying by the pool, eating our faces off, reading good books, taking naps, watching Jake and Ty play some black jack with $5 (which of course they got greedy when it tripled and lost it all!) watching fireworks from our balcony and just spending time with each other! Thank you so much Mom and Dad for the amazing weekend, and thanks Ty and Lex for sharing our room! We miss you already!

Memorial Day Weekend

I know this is a little late, but I better update SOMETHING soon or my mom might punch me.. haha so Mom, here it is! :) We were able to get away for Memorial Day weekend, and it was MUCH needed. Jake's parents just bought a cabin up in ShowLow/Pinetop area, so we went up with the whole Jasper clan. We had so much fun just lounging around all day! We would sleep in, ride the quads, take naps, eat a million otter pops, watch movies, go into town, and sit by the fire. Plus it's always nice to get out of the heat! We got spoiled having our nephew Jax up there with us too.. we all just obsess over him! There is a lake about a mile from the cabin, so we are looking forward to hanging out down there a lot more too!

I know I have been the worst blogger ever. My computer has been too annoying to try and upload pictures, and I finally found my camera cord! Anyway, here is what we have been up to the last little while. First, our puppy Cash has been so naughty lately. I don't know what it is, but the past couple weeks it's like he just checks every inch of the house to see what he can chew on. We've never had a problem with him chewing, not even when he was teething! Well a couple weeks ago, he was in the backyard with his head buried in a patch of grass. Yes patch, we don't have beautiful green grass like I would like! Time for that Jake! :) Well Jake saw him, so he knocked on the back door, and this is what his face looked like when he looked up. I couldn't help but laugh!

The other night, he found my FAVORITE Madden Girl sandels, and decided they were his new chew toy. When I caught him it was too late.. the strap had already been disconnected. I literally almost started crying and couldn't talk the rest of the night! haha That was a night his life almost ended!

Enough about our dog child... Buck was able to play at Chase field last Saturday with Mountain View's team, and it was so much fun! We all went and watched, and he just said it was a blast to play on that field. Unfortunately he didn't pitch cause he pitched earlier in the week, but he played right field where he had an amazing throw to home plate to throw the guy out! He also had some awesome hits! Good job Buck I love you!!

This year my parents took all of us to California for our Christmas present, and it was so much fun! It was the first trip that all of us were together since Jake and I, and Ty and Lex have been married. We went to Knott's Berry Farm, played football on the beach, and were just lazy. I was a blast!! It was great to get away from work for a week, and spend time on the beach with the ones I love! Thanks again Mom and Dad! :)

Halloween

This year for Halloween we actually dressed up, and it was really fun! I got out of work at 3:30, ran to Goodwill on my way home, and we had 30 minutes to get ready. Talk about a last minute costume. We went to the cul-de-sac dinner before it got dark out, and then sat around and watched the million little kids trick or treat, which is always fun. Then we went over to Jake's parents and had some MORE yummy food. Every holiday we end up eating twice.. But we had a lot of fun this year with family!

I know, I know, I am long overdue on an update with us, but my camera has been dead, and I keep forgetting to charge the battery. This might be kinda random, but Jake and I are staying at my parent's house this weekend while they are out of town, and I was going through all the pictures on their computer, and I was looking at all the pictures of my friends and I. I got thinking about how lucky I was and am to have such a great, close group of friends all through junior high and high school. We all kept each other on track, and now that I look back, we were all very protective of each other. Now that we are all in different places and phases of our lives, it gets hard sometimes to keep in touch, but you guys are always on my mind, and I will always consider you my best friends. I love each of you so much, and I am so thankful to have you in my life. Thanks for being the examples that you guys are to me.. still to this day! I LOVE YOU GUYS! :)

I know this post is WAY past due, but I have a ton of pictures from the month of July, and it was pretty much the only month out of the summer that we were able to do fun things! Be prepared this is going to be long, and have LOTS of pictures! :)... Here we go...

For the 4th of July, Jake and I went up to Showlow to spend time with his family. If you haven't spent the 4th in a small town, you have to! It is so much fun, and the parades are always a big hit. We went to the parade that started at 9 and ended at 11!... ya I think they had to get every Showlow resident to fill that parade.

Next, my mom got us tickets to go see Wicked, which was amazing as always! I absoluetly LOVE going to broadways. I grew up going to them often! Jake was kinda reluctant to go, but he loved it! We went with a huge group of family friends from my mom's ward, which I still consider MY ward.. and I think I always will. We tried to take a picture with the stage in the background, until the camera natzi came running down our row telling is that "she doesn't want to have to take away my camera". Haha I wonder how much she gets paid..

Middle of July was the long-awaited Mema and Bapa camping trip! Every summer my grandparents take all of us grandkids camping, and this was the first year since before Hudson left on his mission that we were all able to be there at once! Now that 4 of us are married, it made for a big group, but it was SOO fun! We just hop on all of the quads, pack a lunch, and go on an all day ride! I love my cousins and Mema and Bapa! We found this cave that you crawl into, which looks tiny from the outside, but once you get in it opens up to a huge cave, and it was probably 20 degrees cooler. There were little tunnels that branched off the cave, and we went and explored! Of course it was pitch black inside, but the flash of my camera lit up the whole area!

We haven't done anything too exciting lately, but I figured it's time for an update. This past weekend we were able to "dogsit" Jake's parent's dog, which was so fun for me, because anyone who talks to me knows how bad a want a puppy! So it was so fun having cute Oscar follow me around the house wherever I went.

My nephew Dean is the cutest boy ever! I adore him! I try and watch him about once a week, and it is so much fun! I always get cute pictures of him. I'm trying to catch one with him smiling, and the only ones I have are on my phone! But here are a few..

Jake's birthday was the 24th, and we went out to Olive and Ivy to eat that night and loved it! I am horrible at taking pictures lately, but here is one from the night my parents took us out. The other one is when we went out for Alexa's birthday... excuse my claw hand I don't know what I'm doing!

A few weeks ago we went up to Showlow with our favorite couple friends Derek and Ashley and we had a blast! It was fun to just get away. And they just got engaged yesterday, and we couldn't be more excited for them! Congrats!

This last weekend my best friend of a brother got married to the cutest, sweetest girl ever! I am SO excited for them, they are absolutely adorable! I am so lucky that I have been blessed with such amazing sister in law's. They are the sisters I never had growing up! :) Congrats Ty and Alexa, I love you both!!

I'm an aunt!! Courtney had Dean Hudson Rogers on April 1st at 4:20 AM, and he only weighed 6 lbs 2 oz! He's just a little guy, but I love him so much! I can't wait to have him around, and to babysit him! :) Congrats Hud and Court you'll be GREAT parents! Love you!

So last night my parents took Jake and I out to dinner for my birthday. We went to Cantina Leredo, and if you haven't been there you HAVE to! It's the best mexican food ever! Anyway.. afterward we were walking around the San Tan mall, and decided to stop in the pet store, because I'm super puppy hungry, and that's the only puppy fix I can get for now! (besides having Jake's parents dog Oscar have sleepovers with us!:) So next to all the little signs telling what each breed of dog they are it says "Ask to hold me". My dad already had one in his hands and I wanted to hold the cutest one ever! So I asked the lady who was helping my dad, "Can I hold this puppy?" She looked at me for a sec, then with a sorry look on her face said, "I'm sorry, you have to be 18..." I was like EXCUSE ME??? I'm 20.. thank you.. good bye... haha I was so bugged the rest of the night! That hasn't happened now for like a year, and here I am, with my HUSBAND, and she's probably thinking he's my babysitter! Bleh! Haha whatever... My family sure got a kick out of it.. it's not funny to me anymore....

Bragging moment...

First off, I want to brag about what a STUD my brother Hayden has become!! Today was the opening game of the baseball season, and Hayden was the starting pitcher for Varsity, as a SOPHOMORE! Plus, this team is favored to win the east valley Region. He already got his first college recruit letter in the mail from UNLV, and yes, he's only a sophomore! He has gotten so huge and buff, its so weird for us scrawny Rogers! Man, he's such a stud and I'm SO proud of him!! I love you so much Buck!! You're amazing!!!... and keep the ladies away! :)

Home Improvement

I have been working on a few different projects around the house, and they have made a HUGE difference in the atmosphere. Our house is getting homier (sp?) with each addition and we love it!
First, I had all last weekend off of work, so my mom and I went out and got curtains for the kitchen and our bedroom. They add so much to each room I love it! Next project for our room is painting the blinding white walls, and getting actual night stands, rather than using our tv trays! :)

While I was out with my mom, we stopped by Goodwill, and found this entertainment center that we could touch up, because the wall that our tv was on was way too big for our little tv. The best part about it... it was only 20 BONES!

Jake and I borrowed this movie from his mom, and watched it a few nights ago. Although the acting was a little cheesy, it was actually a really good movie! I think every married couple needs to see it. It's about a marriage that is struggling, and the husband decides to do what he can to save it. BOTH of us actually got a little teary-eyed, which is HUGE for us! :) sad i know.... but anyway it made me so greatful for my husband and the love and respect he shows me. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have him for eternity!! anyway.. go watch it!!!

Boy did we have fun this past week!! This was my first cruise and between blowing up from a 24 HOUR BUFFET, laying around reading my book by the pool, and exploring the different towns, i did not want to come home!! We had sooo much fun.. prepare for a picture OVERLOAD.... and these are only a few...

HONEYMOON!

This is where Jake and I are going to be residing all of next week starting saturday! We CANNOT wait to just get away and spend time together on our honeymoon. We're going on Princess Cruises to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas for 7 nights... This will be my first cruise and I couldn't be more excited! There will be many pictures to come!!

I know, I know, I've been a real slacker on my blog lately. Things have just been crazy! Jake and I are just LOVING being newlyweds. We have so much fun together, and I couldn't ask for a better husband! Here is just a quick recap of everything that happened in November... and more of December coming soon when I can get all my Christmas pictures loaded onto my computer..

We finally got our marriage license!(last minute of course..)

YAY!! We're married!! We had so much fun at our reception and thank everyone for coming out and supporting us!

We had our first Thanksgiving together as our new little family, and it was so much fun being around both of our families. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures, but we ate dinner with Jake's side of the family and then went over to Mema and Bapa's and played games with all of my family. I'm so thankful to have both sides here in town and to be surrounded by amazing family!

Only 10 more days until I get to marry this sweet, handsome man! After waiting for three months, I can't believe it's already NEXT weekend! It's hard for me to say in words how much I adore Jake, but every time I am with him I feel like the luckiest girl on earth. Here are a few reasons why I love him so much! (just to name a few)...

-He can always make me laugh, no matter what mood I'm in. When I'm having a bad day, the second Jake walks in the door it all goes away. For example, we were at his house and I couldn't find him, so I went in the back where the office and his little brother Jordan's room is, and I hear him call my name. Next thing I know he's coming out of Jordan's bathroom with his hair slicked, parted down the middle... haha I just love his goofy personality!!

-Jake treats me like a princess! He shows me he loves me in so many different ways, and is always concerned if I'm comfortable or happy or whatever else. When I wake up in the morning I'll have a text waiting from him telling me he's just thinking about me and that he loves me! Jake is so compassionate and makes me feel like I'm everything to him!

-He is such a hard worker. Honestly, I don't think I could be as dedicated to school as he is. He can come home from being at school for 10 hours straight and spend all night studying, yet still find time for me. I appreciate and respect him so much for that!

Pretty much he is everything I could ask for and more! I love you so much babe and I can't wait to begin our journey together as a family next weekend! :)

So this past week I had my ward bridal shower, which was actually a lot of fun! Molly Foy of course went all out with the decorations and made that cute cupcake tree, and made everything just perfect! Thank you so much to everyone who got me all the fun gifts and helped make it a great night!

So obviously Jake and I are going to be super poor when we get married, so we've been bargain shopping for furniture to fix up, and I must say we have found some great things! we got this table which we will use for our kitchen table at Goodwill for a whopping $12! We are going to sand it down and paint it black probably, and maybe add a crackle affect! We have yet to find some cute chairs to go with it, so keep your eyes peeled for me! The table below is one Jake bought all by himself at a garage sale while I was away in Utah! I'm not sure what color we will paint it, but I love that Jake has such good taste and I can trust him with stuff like that! :) We're gonna make these projects our date nights for the next few weekends and I'm so excited! I'll let you know how the final result turns out!

If you haven't heard yet.. I'M ENGAGED!! It happened on August 29th, and I was definitely surprised! So I thought we were going on a double date with one if his friends, but he wouldn't tell me what we were doing. So I was rushing home from work, got all showered, and Jake came and picked me up. When we got in the car he said we were going to Flancer's for dinner, and was looking all around for his wallet. He said he think he left it at his dad's office (which a week before he had been telling me he was there and just doing extra work to earn some extra money..) so when we got there, he opened the door and there was music playing, rose pedals all over, candles, flowers... SO pretty! so we ate this fancy dinner and the whole time I'm thinking.. I can see him doing this, and not proposing to trick me, so I wasn't getting any hopes up! After our delicious dinner that I couldn't eat much of cause all of the sudden I didn't have much of an appetite, he game me a card, and while I was reading it he came and stood next to me. Well I could hear him reaching for something behind me on the table, so I start freaking out! When I was done reading the card I turned around and he got on one knee! I was soo excited and I LOVE my ring, which he picked out all by himself!

A couple days later we went up to the rim to meet mema and bapa there so we could tell them! Of course Bapa cried haha.. so here are some pictures from it! I'm getting married to the man of my dreams, Jake Jasper, on Nov. 21st! We're so excited!

New Hair!!

So I was sick and tired of trying to keep up with my stupid highlights in my hair, so with a lot of convincing from Jake I went BROWN! I was kinda freaking out yesterday, because it is literally my mom's color! But she said she matched my underneath color, which I have never dyed before. I'm just starting to get over the shock everytime I look in the mirror, and I think I'm getting used to it. It'll definitely be nice not having to keep up with it so often. I'll put some pictures up when I take some!

Today is my little brother Hayden's 16th birthday. I can't believe he's already 16- DATING AGE! Ah I still want to be the protective big sister and keep him away from girls a lot longer! These are some of the reasons I love Buck!

1. He is ALWAYS smiling... if he is pitching in a game, everytime he throws a strike (which is the majority of the time) he can't help but smile.

2. He is such a stud when it comes to baseball.. right now he is pitching for varsity at Mountain View as a sophomore!

3. He loves to give hugs... for about ten minutes at a time! haha

4. Ever since he was a baby, he has been a clown! His personality is so fun, and so many people love being around him!

5. Most of all, I love that we are so close and he is one of my best friends! I'm proud to call you my brother and I LOVE YOU!! I hope you have the best birthday ever!!

Ok, ok I know I am really bad at keeping this updated, but I've just been so busy with aesthetician school I don't have any time! I graduate NEXT WEEK though! Ah I'm so excited to get out there and work on my own. I know these pictures are pretty old, but here are some pictures from Disneyland, and random weekends. Jake and I went to Tombstone this week with his sister and brother-in-law, and it was really fun! haha I know that is a really random place to go, but it was fun to just get away no matter where it was!

Okay, okay I know I've been slacking on updating this thing!! So here is a little overview of what I've been up to lately.. About a month ago I went to Mexico with Savanna, CJ (her boyfriend:)), and his three little brothers. We had a blast! Jake and I have been on a few dates with Savanna and CJ, and we have so much fun with them. Here are just a few pictures from one of our dates!! I also went to Disneyland a couple weeks ago, and I'll put up pictures from that when I finally get them up on my computer!!

So I decided that I'm going to actually keep this up, since I've been a huge slacker now that I'm home! Just an update.. I'm going to aesthetician school right now at Kar-Che, and I absolutely LOVE it!! My sister in law courtney and I are doing it together, and we have so much fun! I'm staying super busy with that, and on top of everything I'm teaching seven violin students in the mornings and evengs.. AH stressful schedule, but I love being busy.

This past weekend I flew up to Provo to visit all my friends, and now I'm dying to get up there in the summer! It's SO much fun there, I had a blast! There are just so many people to meet, and always something fun going on. Me and my girlfriends just have so much fun together, and I was sad to leave, but I'll be back up real soon!!

Well this is my LAST week here until Hudson and Courtney and Mema and Bapa get here!! I can't believe it's already here!! I've been looking forward to this since I got here!! haha At times that was what got me to keep goin here. Now it's here! Well last weekend was really fun. We met up with these girls from our ward on Friday night, and we all went and got Japanese food together (Me, Jessica, Sally from England, and Diana from Venezuela). They are SO fun!! And I'm obsessed with Sally and her English accent!! Lately I've been really drawn to London and thinking about doing a study abroad there sometime, but now that I've been with her a lot lately I'm like set on it!! It probably won't be for a little while, but I'm totally going to go!! After doing this, I feel like I can do anything!! Anyway.. after dinner, Jessica and Diana had to leave, so Sally and I just went and got dinner and talked for a while and walked around, then Jessica met back up with us later and we all went and saw Stardust (our second time seeing it here). It was a lot of fun! Then on Saturday me and Jessica woke up early and met up with this girl that we met from Germany. She lives in the apartment complex next to us.. but we caught a van that took us to Lopburi, a little city about an hour and half away, and we played with all the monkeys!! It was SO fun!! These ones weren't so evil, and they would like climb up on us and stuff. The little ones were so cute!! I've been trying to post pictures this whole day, but I sit there for like 30 minutes, and it doesn't work!! Does anyone else have this problem???

Okay.. so I haven't kept up with this since the first week i got here, and now I'm already coming home in three weeks exactly!! Man time flies that's for sure. When I was in the middle of it all i honestly thought it was never going to end! I definatley had a lot of hard times, and there was a point where I felt like I was having more bad times than good times, but of course you guys don't get to see those.. you just see all the fun pictures! Now that I'm in Bangkok I'm LOVING it!! My roommate Jessica is from Texas, and she is just absolutley hilarious! I'm always DYING laughing with her.. she has saved my life!! We have done a lot of traveling, and it's so fun to be with another American experiencing it all, haha and complaining together at times! Yesterday we went to our ward, which they actually have an English ward here in Bangkok, and that was SO fun to feel like I was in America again! But I still miss my ward a lot!! Here are just a few pictures out of my 1,000! We've been to Chiang Mai, and Phuket, total opposite sides of the country, and I've loved everything!! I'm SO excited to see Hudson and Courtney in exactly two weeks, but then again I'm going to be sad to leave everyone! I think especially Jessica, since we've gotten so close!!

Happy 4th of July!! What a way to spend it then with your group of friends in Waikiki! So on Tuesday afternoon, we drove to Waikiki (one of the kids has a car), and when we got there, it took FOREVER to find a parking spot, but when we finally did, we walked down the strip. That was alot of fun just lookin at all the shops and talking to all the crazy people! it was way sad though, this homeless man started going through one of the trash cans and literally took a drink out of it and started drinking out of the straw! It was really sad. But we were waiting for the other half of the group to get there because not everyone could fit in the car, so they made the long trip on the bus! But we went up to the hotel room and showered and got ready, which i have not done since i've been here it's so nice!.. but i have showered! haha anyway..once everyone got there, we all went to Cheesecake Factory and ate together and then pretty much just hung out on the strip! It was really cute to see all the boys being so protective of us while walking around because at night there are some scary people. They always made sure to be the ones walking on the edge next to all the scaries! Then on Wednesday, we went out to the beach and just hung out there all day! It was way crowded, especially compared to our side of the island which is so quiet and not so civilized! it was so much fun! We took the long bus ride back home and just watched the fireworks at Turtle Bay! I hope you guys all had a fun time too! Oh and these pictures with our razors... We are the SCOOT TROOP!! haha we LOVE our scooters they are like our best friends!

I have almost completed my first week here in Hawaii and I LOVE it!! I am having so much fun and meeting so many new people from all different cultures! It's still hard for me to believe that I'm actually living pretty much in PARADISE!! Even though it's not very civilized, which by the way Savanna was VERY grumpy about at first! We have already done so many cool things, and i feel like I've been here for so long! So last week we got here on Monday, and I was pretty overwhelmed because i felt like the campus was so huge and I didn't know anything that was going on! But we already have our group of friends that all hang out together and I feel like I've been friends with them forever! The other day we took the bus to Turtle Bay and played beach volleyball with our big group and it was a blast! We swam in the ocean too, which is ssooo nice. The water is like warm and so clear! Yesterday we took the circle island tour for orientation, and they took us to a really pretty look out first, and then to the swap meet, then to Pearl Harbor, which is always amazing, then to WalMart which was our favorite part!! Then we went to Halieva and got the best shaved ice!! Today was our first day in our new ward, and there are only about 50 people! It's kinda weird because there are so many different wards here on campus, but each one only has a few people in them! And don't worry.. Me Savanna and B are the only white people in ours! The rest are all Asian and Polynesian! It's pretty funny actually!
